Hi everyone! My name is Joy Pena, one of the member of this group. I work in Bellevue Downtown as a Hair Designer for Salon Juno. I have been doing hair for a little over 13 years and I am proud to say that I enjoy and love my work. I love working with people and it is one of the reason why I have been in this business for a long time. The purpose for this email is that I would like to share with you my participation of a special event that I am organizing for a love one.
To make it short, I wanted to let everyone know that I am participating a fund raising event for the Tour de Cure which is coming up May 16th. Here's a little story and the reason why I am starting this event.
In 2003, my father died of diabetes complication. It was heartbreaking because my mother had already passed away years before my father did. When I lost my dad, I realized how much I have missed both of my parents especially on many special occasions. As of today, I am living with a wonderful person who happens to have a Diabetes. He is very dear to my heart and I stand beside him to help him raise money for this upcoming event. Michael has been cycling for Tour de Cure for 3 years now and his goal is to continue being active in the program.
In order to help Michael raise money for a good caused, I am offering a very special low price on my haircuts! All haircuts men and women including shampoo and scalp massage are only $15.00 dollars. I also believe that I am helping you save money especially for those who lost their jobs due to the economic hardship. I think of it as a win win situation and it all benefit you and me.
All the money will go to my favorite organization, the Tour de Cure fight for Diabetes. If you, or someone you know would need a haircut for a very reasonable price, please refer them to me. I am only doing this event until May 15th.

My hair salon location is at Salon Juno 217 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue WA 98004. I am between NE 4th and 2nd St. right across Safeway one block south on Bellevue Way. The salon hours are from Tuesday and Thursday 11:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday and Friday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and every other Saturday 10:00 to 5:00 pm.
