Yes, sales were brisk for Father's Day.  This week has been so-so, but things have remained busy.  The University Bookstore is going to host a book signing before one of this fall's football games, and that will be an interesting experience.  We also delivered 10 cases of books this morning to the distributor, so those will begin popping up in Northwest bookstores throughout July and August.

Event Description: Hello Everybody,

Thanks for looking into the July Bellevue Entrepreneur Meetup! To those of you who have already RSVP'd, sorry to change the date on you. I will unfortunately be out of town on Thursday July 12th, which is when we normally do the meetups (2nd Thursday of every month.) If I get enough feedback to keep it on the previous date (7/12) I will change it back and select an alternate organizer, potentially Derek Johnson if he's willing and not too busy with his book.

The format for this Meetup will be the same as the previous two. We'll simply get together, introduce ourselves and network, then share our businesses. After that, I'd like to add a book sharing session to the mix. Please bring your favorite business book or other inspirational book that you are currently reading. Its like show and tell, but for adults. The goal here is to get some serious motivation and inspiration going within our group to help us go forward the rest of the month and make a difference in the business world and beyond.

Until we start getting a critical mass and core group of at least 10 people, I'm reluctant to set up a speaker or attend a networking/luncheon/seminar event at this point, so tell are your friends and colleagues about Bellevue Entrepreneur Meetup so we can make this an even better event.

The past two events have been great, and I know I've learned a lot from everybody, and you will too when you attend. I'm looking forward to meeting everybody at the 3rd Bellevue Entrepreneur Meetup, and let me remind you the Summer in Bellevue is a great time to sit down and talk Entrepreneurial Shop with those of your fellow Entrepreneurs you may have more in common with you than you know! Until then, have a great rest of June and Early July!
