Its been a while since we had last meetup. We should start again.
I am trying to research how to find venture capital for an LLC that is a start up business that deals with renewable energy projects.
They have some venture capital they are in the process of negotiating with for the pre construction stage of a couple of projects but need additional venture capital for llc operations.
I am not quite sure how to research this out. Do you have any knowledge or recommendations on how to learn about this type of venture financing? For instance, I am not quite sure that the type of capital thats put towards an LLC operations is actually referred to in some other type of category?
Also, I have seen an LLC funded by a larger company that bought a percentage of interest in general return of profit but I have no idea what that type of funding is referred to as.

I would like to present the following:
The Credit Card Act of 2009 helps consumers from unfair interchange practices of banks and processors, but not merchants. Since the beginning of the use of credit cards, merchants have been victims of an unregulated industry. Merchants in the United States pay some of the highest Interchange fees in the world. This is because other countries have recognized the seriousness of this problem and have implemented laws governing interchange. Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers (D-MI), Congressman Bill Shuster (R-PA) and Senator Richard Durbin (D-IL) have recognized this issue and have brought bills to Washington that will bring about the needed changes. I will discuss how our area businesses can be added to this petition, and how steps can be taken now to protect a small and medium sized businesses.
Small business owners may find themselves unable to afford healthcare insurance for themselves and their employees in the economy we're in now. I'd like to offer a low-cost Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine treatment plan that would suit the budget of a company and its employees. The plan aims at offerring frequent visits per month as long as people are in the yearly plan. The plan would only involve my clinic and the enrollees, without insurance company involvement. Partipants get to help decide what cost may be reasonable and how many visits per month. I brain-stormed this idea as a win-win approach to gaining healthcare access and better health for all. We can perhaps meeup to explore this option. With this suggested model, the more people who buy into the plan, the cheaper it gets. What about the treatment results? It's fantastic within the scope of practice of this medicine.

I'd recommend a casual get together at Danial's broiler in Bellevue at the wine room. Simple to form, just show up with some cards to discuss business networking. Great admosphere, fun time. I'll be there Tuesday, December 8th, from 5-7pm. Will you join me?
Last year the group had a wonderful meeting at the Gold Class Cinema in Redmond. Perhaps this year a similar event could be organized (though I know it is last minute), with some sort of speaker or theme to help promote the meeting. After a year like this, I'd imagine several people have some stories to tell and experiences to share!
